The Edifier ES20 surprised me — this little thing slaps. Don’t expect it to replace your high-end setup, but for casual listening or travel, it’s a winner. It connects instantly via Bluetooth (no hiccups with my iPhone), and handles everything from pop to EDM with clear, balanced sound. It gets loud too — 50% volume is perfect for background music while working.Build quality is excellent. The soft-touch finish feels premium, and the grill design gives it a mini amp vibe. The included lanyard makes it easy to carry around, and USB-C charging is a plus. The RGB accent on the back adds a nice glow — subtle, but stylish.👍 What I liked:Impressive sound for the sizeReliable, fast Bluetooth connectionPremium soft-touch finishUSB-C chargingCool RGB glowLanyard included for portabilityGreat value👎 What I didn’t like:Nothing, i love it and it fits perfectly with my desk setup.💡Final Thoughts:No complaints here — this is a compact, well-built speaker that delivers great value and sound.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I've owned Edifier products before and found them to produce high-quality sound for the money. Unfortunately, I was a bit underwhelmed by the ES20 in comparison. For the best experience, it's best to be in close proximity to the speaker at ear level, otherwise it sounds kind of muted. It's definitely better than a phone's built-in speaker any day, and it's hard to produce good sound from such a small form factor. Build quality is very good though, and the buttons have a satisfying feel to them. I also appreciate the LED status meter for the power capacity. Pairing with my phone was quick and easy as well. I haven't had the opportunity to test the battery life, but Edifier has conflicting information in their headlines and product descriptions saying it's either 12 or 15 hour capacity.

First, don’t let the small size of this speaker fool you. It can get LOUD. It has a nice bass too. The battery comes fully charged ready to go out of the box. The controls are very simple to use. I downloaded the app and it has a few cool other features to it like changing the light conditions (you pick, rainbow, emergency red flash, breathing, or solid). You can see your battery life on the app also. It has a little lanyard for the side. Can’t speak on waterproof capabilities but the feel of this speaker is smooth and nice to hold. Due to the smooth padding, I would wager it helps with shockproof. Overall, WHOA. Don’t pass up on this little guy. Can confirm Taylor Swift sounds great on it. I also tested out Metallica and got positive feedback from the musician boyfriend. 🤘🏻

The Edifier Portable Bluetooth Speaker is really cute and honestly exceeded my expectations. It was super easy to connect to my phone — no hassle at all. For such a compact speaker, it’s pretty loud, especially for its size. I mean, yes, there are louder speakers out there, but this one definitely holds its own. It’s way louder than Alexa, that’s for sure.I tested it with a few bass-heavy songs, and it handled them like a champ. The sound didn’t get distorted, and it never felt like the speaker was struggling or about to blow. The audio stays clear and crisp, even with deep bass. One of my favorite little features is the light on the back — you can keep it on a solid color, let it change colors, or turn it off completely if you want something more low-key.It also came fully charged, and the battery life has been great so far. Plus, the size makes it super easy to bring along — perfect for a beach day, hanging by the pool, or just using around the house.

Soooo pretty!! I compared this with the JBL Go and am super satisfied with my choice. It would've been better if there were a next song button, but can't complain.

Very good music..loud for a small speaker! Nice color ambient

For what I'm using it for, this Edifier speaker works just fine. I have it connected to my computer for when I stream movies or TV shows. That said, based on other reviews, I was expecting a little more. I don't like things loud at all. But, I turned this as far up as it would go just to see how loud it goes. If I have a fan on, it's loud enough to hear, but could be a LOT louder. There also isn't much in the way of bass. If I pause my show or movie to go do a couple of things, the speaker has shut itself off by the time I come back. This has never been an issue with other speakers I've used. It does charge up quickly and hold a charge well. I like the retro look, and the casing seems to be solid. But, for the price point, there are a lot of other speakers and brands out there that are much better quality.

I'm a fan of all things Edifier. This speaker is small, convenient, well-made, attractive, and powerful, with great quality sound. The bass is deeper and tighter than expected, with the mid and highs not suffering.

I love this little speaker! Bought it because it's waterproof and I wanted something for the bathroom. Takes up almost no shelf space and the sound is great, even when listening to it in the shower. (Clarification - I have it just sitting on a shelf in the bathroom - not actually in the shower stall).Didn't even realize it had lights on the back, so that's a fun addition. It was extremely easy to pair with my Google Pixel, but there is an instruction manual if needed. The packaging was great - hardly any plastic and the speaker was even packaged in a paper/cardboard box that could easily just go in the greenbin. It's a solid little speaker and you can tell it's well made.Absolutely worth the $90 price tag.
