I'm not an audiophile, so I cannot speak fully to the sound quality of these speakers beyond saying they sound amazing. Being able to switch between bluetooth / connected inputs is a super nice upgrade from my previous big-brand gaming speakers. I'm a big gamer, and wanted something that would have great/immersive sound for solo games (when I'm not bound to a headset with friends) and the sound on these is quite impressive. My previous speakers included a subwoofer, so I was worried that I would miss out on depth of sound with these but did not notice much of a difference.They look phenomenal and - while a splurge - genuinely feel like you are getting your money's worth! Every detail on them feels luxurious, from the mirrored front to the customizable lighting to the leather exterior to the included stand. 10/10.

When I first set them up I noticed that one of the speaker’s lights was not operating correctly but Edifer’s customer came through and replaced it for me since I was still under warranty. The speakers look amazing and sound great! I couldn’t be happier with the product and the customer service I received.

Amazing sound. These do not get overly loud, these are good got a gaming study desk set up. The material on the outside is nice to the touch, my cat already messed it up. The led change colors and are customizable, this can only be done via the phone app by the way. You can also tweak the equalizer via the app, the app can sorta be like a remote control.

The only downside(nothing to do with the speakers themselves) is the cable that came with it to power both monitors is a bit short! So if you plan to have them on different sides of your room then you have to invest in a longer cable when you buy these speakers!

I really liked the QR65 speakers and would have kept them if it weren't for quality control and support issues. Audio definition was really good to where hearing the crash of cymbals, the snap of a snare drum, and the sound of someone swiping down the bass guitar string on the fret board were a pleasure to notice. Bass reproduction is good and I never felt like I needed a subwoofer to round things out. The RGB lights are really gimmicky, but most of the customization options are available through their mobile app.The problem I experienced is that that the USB connection would randomly cut out at times. There would be a loud buzzing noise for several seconds, then the RGB lights would go dark, and then it seemed like the speakers would reboot themselves. Unfortunately my computer would no longer detect the QR65 as a sound output until I did a hard power cycle of the speakers. I know the USB cable wasn't the problem because I used the same one from my previous PC speaker setup (Edifier G2000). FWIW, the bluetooth connection was flawless. In any case, I emailed Edifier support over a week ago but didn't get so much as an automated response. This poor experience is not very confidence inspiring particularly if I should need warranty support down the road. I would have considered trying another pair of speakers, but Amazon didn't give me the option to do an exchange and I got these when they were discounted by $100.

Amazing clarity and Fidelity. So far loving the app for changing eq and lighting effects. Bluetooth work great. Larger sized speaker if you have the desk space I'd recommend anything in the edifier brand

Is the price right? I go by the old rule "you get what you pay for". I'm 78 and my hearing isn't what it was. What I pay for is dialogue delivered without distortion. These speakers do that extremely well, so, yes, the price is more than fair! Music is also very good, as covered by other 5 star reviewers. For movies, I added the T5s sub. I'm thoroughly satisfied with both purchases and am certainly getting what I paid for! I don't care about the light show and leave it off. I'm of the opinion that speakers shouldn't draw attention to themselves except for excellence in sound delivery. I won't be downloading the Edifier ConneX App for 2 reasons: (1) These speakers are perfectly tuned for dialogue right out of the box, and I don't want to change a single thing; (2) An account requiring personal information is required to download the app, and the last thing I want is a spike in spam.

Love them. I recommend adding a sub though. Not much bass to them but you can add a woofer so no bigbdeal

The Edifier QR65 is a dream come true. It offers perfect desktop speakers at a reasonable price. A subwoofer is offered, but it is totally unnecessary. The clarity of these speakers is extraordinary. I have tried many different desktop speakers and always thought them deficient. My worst experience was with the Devivlaet Phantom IIs. They were hideously expensive and required constant rebooting for so-so quality. The Logitech Z623 promised an inexpensive alternative, but even with its subwoofer, the sound was tiny and tinny.

I got the white out set up with my computer desk in front of ikea kallax from ceiling to floor. The design with the infinity lighting is absolutely mint. It has different settings for different light shows. I just keep it set to a volume display. It takes me back to the old school stereos that just have the decibel lights on the equalizer, or the old winamp visualizers. The sound it great!!! My son came in when i had left to go pick up Pizza and I had them still playing. He said, wow, they are so clear. I assume they are supposed to be run with a sub. When i came home and cranked them up, he said, "oh, well, there's the base. Maybe they would be fine alone. Kinda with him. These are loud enough to fill a normal sized room and i think the base is good enough too. I absolutely love these. Got a great sale price. One of my best purchases in a long time.

Pros:- Sound quality is above par. Even without dedicated sub there's punch in bass- Looks beautiful in white finish and and the mirror lights takes it to the next levelCons:- Light effects have a lot of room for improvement. Except 1 or 2 styles, they aren't suitable for music visualization. Even for those 1 or 2 styles, the light response carries significant latency and sensitivity to match the music. Fix this and and it will be killer product- Some use cases(gaming, heavy metal etc) need software EQ to do justice to the outputOverall for a smallish room I couldn't find a better alternative with a minimalist white finish and respectable sound quality in this price range.
